The Buckingham AED Project is 10 years old. Provides local support and awareness for the provision of publicly accessible AEDs in Buckingham and the surrounding area.
An automated External Defibrillator is an electronic portable device that shocks the heart in an attempt to restore its natural rhythm when someone is in sudden cardiac arrest.
We raise the awareness and funds to provide AED units and make arrangements for their maintenance and ongoing servicing once installed and have placed 24 machines to date.
