Do you have a couple of hours to spare occasionally? Would you like to become part of a very valuable and much appreciated service within the local community?
A group of volunteer drivers provide transport for hospital appointments to various local hospitals. They wait for the patient and take them home afterwards.
We have recently become very popular and are being asked to do a lot more trips, so to avoid having to turn down requests we desperately need some extra drivers.
Even if you are only free one day a week, we would love to hear from you.
Patients pay a small charge for this service – the amount varies depending on which hospital they are going to. We reimburse drivers for their mileage.
