Young carers from YC2 have made their mark on the Buckingham Otter Trail by painting an otter.
The trail will feature ten individually painted otters which will be located throughout Buckingham town and surrounding greenspaces this summer. The aim is to help increase footfall to the town and local businesses whilst bringing the community together.
The group from YC2 agreed a colourful theme for their otter consisting of blue skies, a large rainbow and the YC2 red balloon, as well as a name for their otter – Jimmy Fisher.
The design also included dandelions and thistledown and if you look very closely on Jimmy’s tummy there are tiny sets of initials representing every young carer on the current register – the group of 21 will be forever remembered!
