Organised and hosted by The Rotary Club of Buckingham, the annual Citizen of The Year (COTY) and Young Citizen of The Year (YCOTY) awards for the town of Buckingham recognise those who go above and beyond for their community.
The public nominate who they think deserve to win the award. The winners are selected by an independent panel and are presented with their awards at the town’s Civic Day.
From a large number of nominations, this year’s worthy winner of the COTY award was CCNB trustee Gerry Bluck, for all her hard and varied work in the community over many years.
Unfortunately there were no nominations for the YCOTY award which is sad, as there are likely many youngsters who would deserve the award.

Well done Gerry!
