We are delighted to share the news that Community Care North Bucks has been awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service 2018. This is a remarkable achievement and speaks volumes for the committed and dedicated work of all our volunteers, serving the local community week in week out.
This award was created by The Queen in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of the Queen’s coronation, recognising excellence in voluntary activities carried out by groups in the community. It is the MBE for volunteer groups
We were nominated by a local resident last year and have been through the assessment process over the past few months: the official announcement was made on Saturday 2nd June.
A huge thank you to all of our volunteers for making this award possible – you can all feel immensely proud of the recognition this Award represents.
