It seems only right at the beginning of the year to thank certain people for all they do to make YC2 such an amazing group.
We are very lucky to be supported by a group called Friends of YC2. They are a group who focus on vital funding, which allows us to plan ahead and offer certain activities each year.
Without generous donations we would not have the funds to pay for club nights, trips and courses.
The Cloudy Group and Oakpark Alarms have very kindly chosen us as their nominated charity for 2018 and they have lots of fun and rather challenging fundraising events coming up during the year including an Iron Man event, a grand ball, a half marathon and a quiz – good luck and thank you to all.
Trusted Cars in Preston Bissett have generously provided transport by way of a very comfortable bus for various activities and will continue to do so throughout 2018.
This year we have already received generous donations from Maids Moreton WI, Buckingham Rotary, The Spiritualist Church in Buckingham and Buckingham Rugby Club – so thank you very, very much to everyone there.
Without our volunteers there wouldn’t be enough people to take such good care of the children, organise trips and events, support families when needed and organise tasks such as transport and outings.
